The Department of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering is one of the major departments of SSGMCE, Shegaon established in 1983 offering programs: Under Graduate, Post Graduate and Ph.D. It is affiliated to Sant Gadge Baba Amravati University, Amravati, recognized by AICTE, New Delhi and approved by DTE, Maharashtra. The Undergraduate program of the Department of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering has the recognition of being accredited 05 times by NBA, AICTE, New Delhi. The post graduate program was also accredited once by NBA, AICTE, New Delhi.

All the laboratories in the department are well equipped to run the program specific curriculum prescribed by the University. All laboratories are recognized and approved as research laboratories for Ph.D. work by SGB Amravati University.
