SSGMCE installed “12000 LPH water recycling system” offers us to continually reuse one of our most vital resources and maintain environmental friendly campus.

Project information

Being a residential college large number of students and staff reside inside the campus, there is a need of large amounts of water during operational and site activities, which produces a large amount of sewage water. As an environmentally conscious institute, SSGMCE installed a 12000 LPH water recycling system offers us to continually reuse one of our most vital resources and maintain environmental friendly campus.

Water recycling removes contaminants from wastewater and allows it to reuse. The process involves the use of an oil and water separator, a filtration system, a detergent removal unit and a sanitation unit. The recycled water use for watering the plants through a drip system and after reverse osmosis is used for drinking in hostels and faculty block. With the help of reused waste water the 80 acre campus is fully green and greenery, maintenance becomes quite possible with negligible cost.
